Changes Afoot At Gemba Panta ReiIf you are reading this on or about the publishing date noted above, and you have visited us before you will notice some changes to the design of these pages. It looks something like this at the moment, but changes are afoot.
Most of the changes are graphical in nature (centering the page, changing spacing between graphic elements) but you can expect to see some functional changes as well. In the "shameless plug" category we will be doing our utmost to promote Taiichi Ohno's great book Workplace Management which will return to print in English in early 2007. Look for other other book projects we'll take on at Gemba Press in the top right of this blog. Feed readers seem to be more common and easier to use, so on the lower right of the page we'll include a selection of these. Under the Archives section we will add a "Monthly" category for those who want to search by month. On the lower right we will add links to the blogs that we appreciate for their contribution to the conversation and kaizen and all things Lean. These include Curious Cat, DailyKaizen, Evolving Excellence, Fashion-Incubator, Got Boondoggle?, Kaikaku Blog, Lean Blog, Lean Builder, Lean Executive, Lean Insider, Lean Reflections, Lean Services Blog, Learning About Lean, Productivity Cafe, Reforming Project Management, Shmula, Thinking for a Change and TPM Log, for the moment. The search function was broken for a while, and now it is fixed, though it seems slower. We moved our blog to a new server and this caused some wrinkles we are still ironing out. And last but not least, we want your kaizen suggestions on things that would make this blog better. Leave a comment. By Jon Miller - December 20, 2006 11:44 AM |

Looks nice, keep up the kaizen! hi! Thanks for the comments and suggestion. The Dark Side of Lean category is now added. The "no Lean" month of blogging is October 1 -31, 2006 so you can find those under the Monthly Archives link. Congrats on the upgrade. I had to check it from my side tho because I put up a bunch of links to your site yesterday (on the reprinting of Workplace Mgmt) but everything is functioning just fine. Great. Now I'm testing the comments feature. http://www.reformingprojectmanagement.com/ This is the current link for Hal Macomber's Reforming Project Management. (The link you posted that I used led to the old URL.) Your Web site has information that will help me. I just discovered it through a link to a Jon Miller posting at Jack Vinson's KM blog, Knowledge Jolt With Jack. Happy Thanksgiving! |
