We're celebrating the one year anniversary of Gemba Academy! I would first like to thank joint venture partners Factory Strategies Group and Lean Six Sigma Academy for all of the dedication and effort. Together we have created over 30 hours of online learning courses in 12 months.
Anniversary Promotion: DVDs at No Extra Cost
As a way of extending gratitude to everyone we are offering anyone who purchases an online subscription before March 31, 2010 the accompanying set of DVDs at no additional cost. For example subscribers to the Complete Lean Package will receive the 11 DVD set, a $795 value. To learn more, please visit our website.
Why Online Lean Training?
We chose the online training model because it fits our purpose of sharing high quality knowledge of continuous improvement as broadly as possible at a low cost. The subscription model allows one site (one factory, one clinic, one office for example) to train everyone who works there for one price. The DVD format was a recent addition in response to customers who had unreliable internet connections or needed the video training to be portable. Until March 31, 2010 we are shipping the DVDs for free to all new subscribers. To take advantage of this offer, please visit www.GembaAcademy.com
140 Hours of Online Learning by 2014?
What's especially exciting for me is the fact that we've made progress towards our goal of putting the entire body of knowledge online as training courses. We may never reach 100% mark since there will always be new frontiers to explore in lean, and "continuous improvement" itself must continuously improve. But we've gone from 12 modules to 73 in one year, and at this rate we will have about 140 hours of lean learning online by this time 2014. That's our ambition.
An Investment that Grows with You
Everyone who subscribes today to the Complete Lean Package will have access to all current content plus all future content on lean manufacturing. We like to think of this not as a one-time purchase but as an investment that grows each year. Perhaps this time next year the same subscription will be for 135 videos, not 73. If you can benefit from this, all we ask is that you take advantage of this offer or pass it on to someone who can.
This anniversary promotion of the free DVDs with purchase of a subscription applies also to individual courses, not only the Complete Lean Package. For example if all you needed was to learn more about lean problem solving, the 20-video course on Practical Problem Solving may be the right fit. A purchase of this subscription comes with accompanying two 2 DVDs for free, until March 31, 2010. And as with all subscriptions, new content that we add to this course in the future will be available also. To take advantage of this offer, please visit our website.
Gemba Academy brings you the condensed experience of the Gemba consulting team members' decades of lean implementation experience in the form of video training modules (73), quizzes (42), PDF study guides (48), templates (18), an e-book and an audio book. We look forward to making an even better offer for our second anniversary.
