I have accepted an offer from our friends at Lean Frontiers to speak at the Lean HR Summit in Orlando, Florida on October 1-2. I will join more than a dozen leading lean thinkers including Pete Gritton, former VP of HR from Toyota, author and professor Bob Emiliani, author and lean consultant Drew Locher, Toyota Culture author Mike Hoseus and many other speakers. This two-day conference will clear the fog around the issue of lean culture and how to achieve it, enabling HR professionals and lean leaders alike to influence their organizations to become more customer-focused, people-centric and adaptive to change.
My talk on October 1st will squarely address the topic of organizational culture, how to understand culture practically in the context of lean transformation, keys to sustaining improvement results, engaging everyone in the organization, critical leadership behaviors, and as much useful information as I can share in an hour. These are some of the themes covered in my new book Creating a Kaizen Culture, which I will be promoting by giving away 20 copies to attendees of the Lean HR Summit by random drawing.
I will attend both days and hope to make new acquaintances and start many new conversations regarding organizational culture. Looking forward to seeing you there!
